The Security Chain Super Z6 SZ123 cable chain provides superior performance for passenger cars, pickups, and SUVs with limited operating clearance around the drive tires. The diagonal cross-member or “Z” pattern provides outstanding traction and the slim design only needs 1/4 inch of clearance around the tires, much less than most tire chains.
The SCC Super Z6 SZ123 has a split outside cable with two fastening positions that allows for easy installation without moving the vehicle. It has rubber tighteners that keep the chains tight so there’s no need to stop and re-tighten these cable chains. This cable chain is also designed to prevent scratching of alloy or high performance tire rims.
The Super Z6 SZ123 is available to fit tires sized from approximately 175 to 225 millimeters. It is compatible with anti-lock brakes, traction control, all-wheel drive, and other electronically monitored control systems.
The Security Chain Super Z6 SZ123 cable chains weigh approximately 8.2 pounds and come packaged with plastic gloves, one pair of rubber tensioners, reusable nylon bag, and illustrated step-by-step installation and removal instructions.
